Jason's G4S Career Begins

Jason Leon Guerrero began his career at G4S three years ago as an entry-level security officer. His consistent reliability and professionalism led to his promotion to Security Supervisor. He received training that prepared him to respond to security threats. His initial role involved patrolling customer properties and ensuring the safety of guests and patrons. Early challenges included learning the procedures and protocols of the security industry and adapting to the demands of a security role. He quickly demonstrated his competence and commitment to maintaining a secure environment. He was mentored by Andrew Balajadia, G4S Guam Security Manager of The Dusit Properties. His early career goals included advancing within the company and becoming a leader in the security team. His dedication and strong work ethic paved the way for his continued growth and success within G4S. He consistently demonstrated his ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure. He was committed to providing excellent security services to G4S clients.

Supervisor and Life Saver

Jason's career progressed rapidly, culminating in his promotion to Security Supervisor. He consistently demonstrated his ability to handle challenging situations, such as the incident on February 9, 2025, where he disarmed and restrained an individual brandishing a machete. This achievement exemplifies his commitment to safety and security. He developed skills in de-escalation, threat assessment, and communication, which enabled him to effectively manage the situation. His actions protected hotel guests and staff from potential harm. He received recognition for his bravery and professionalism, including being named Security Officer of the Month for March 2025. He was also nominated and awarded the GHRA’s (Guam Hotel & Restaurant Association) Life Saving Award for Q1 2025. He was selected for this award from among three other nominees. His current responsibilities include supervising security operations and ensuring the safety of hotel properties. His future aspirations include continuing to excel in his role and contributing to the safety and security of the community.

Jason has been a reliable and high-performing member of our G4S hotel security team for three years. He worked his way up from an entry-level security officer, and because of his demonstrated consistency, reliability and professionalism he was later promoted as Security Supervisor.
