Moni creates an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and connected

In many ways, Moni is the face of G4S Denmark. As the receptionist, she is the first person you meet when visiting the company’s headquarters and is regarded by everyone she greets as the heart of the office.

As one colleague noted: “Moni is the living proof that a genuine, warm welcome can completely transform someone’s day.”

For Moni, being a receptionist is far more than just a job; it is a personal mission. Her philosophy is simple, as she explained: “Everyone who walks through our doors deserves to be met with a smile and my full attention.”

She added: “Whether you are the CEO, a colleague returning from a long shift on the road, an external business partner, or even the daily newspaper courier, I think everyone deserves the exact same warmth and respect.”

Moni began working with G4S more than a decade ago, first as a security guard and a temporary relief receptionist. She enjoyed her stints on the front desk and, when the role became available three years later, she jumped at the opportunity to take on the position full-time.

Her work involves greeting and directing visitors to G4S Denmark’s head office, managing the busy switchboard, assisting the fleet department and tackling countless ad hoc tasks.

Her understanding of the work of G4S, gained when she worked as a security guard, has undoubtedly helped her in the role she has now where her empathy and warmth is recognised by colleagues. Many have marked their regard for her by giving her little tokens of their love and respect. Today this can be seen in the scores of rubber ducks that adorn her desk, a symbol of her warmth and the G4S spirit.

Moni’s colleague, Micharl Vagn Jørgensen, inadvertently began the tradition when he gave her a small clown-themed rubber duck, “just because”. Other colleagues and visitors, including our window cleaner and even a job applicant, followed suit and more ducks have since flown in from all directions.

Moni’s colleague Line said: "Moni is something truly special. In my 8 years at G4S, she has made a huge difference because she is always ready with a smile, a hug, or just a piece of good advice. Moni creates an amazing atmosphere and is the perfect representative of the face G4S wants to show."

Another G4S Denmark colleague, Tenna, agreed and said: "Moni is always a guarantee of a warm welcome when I’ve been driving for three and a half hours from Aarhus. Always in a good mood, smiling, and up for a chat."
