Role Responsibility:

The Pricing Executive will work as part of a team, developing the pricing of tender opportunities for the sales team.  Working closely with the relevant Sales and Operations Managers, you will be responsible for creating the pricing proforma from data within the tender and transferring the data to the tender format. The Pricing Executive will also be expected to conduct market research analysis and present insights to senior management.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Pricing, the main responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing of tender to ascertain financial data required
  • Data collection from tender documents and interpretation of the data into the G4S pricing model
  • Reviewing of TUPE data and ascertaining key cost drivers for transferring staff
  • Working closely with the bid team to ensure pricing proposal mirrors written proposal
  • Presenting commercial offer to senior stakeholders
  • Conducting market research analysis
  • Supporting operations and sales teams to understand the financial pricing model
  • Assisting with price increases and measuring existing contracts against budget and performance
  • Amending pricing proposal as and when more data becomes available
  • Liaising with operations for specific contract details
  • Post contract Review – 6 months post contract start
  • Conducting training on the pricing model and process
  • Supporting the quarterly commission verification

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and possess high attention to detail.  The ability to multi-task and work across multiple bids at the same time is essential.  Competent in the use of excel would be advantageous.

Essential Requirements

  • 5 years checkable work history
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • High level of proficiency in Excel 
  • Educated to degree level (desirable)
