The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an Lobby Ambassador​. As an Lobby Ambassador, you will be responsible for ensuring that all associates and visitors entering a building lobby are assisted in a professional and courteous manner.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Work with the Administrative Assistants of identified Executives to ensure clients have a positive experience and to ensure timely processing in the visitor registration system
  • Work directly with G4S shift and Site Supervisors and the Site Manager with regard to any and all issues involving the lobby and its staff. The Lobby Ambassador will have the authority to make final decisions on all matters involving the lobby and Supplier staff
  • Monitor Supplier lobby personnel to ensure that they constantly present a professional appearance and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with visitors entering the facility
  • Oversee the operation of the client's lobby desks to include training new personnel, assisting, actively interacting as needed, and handling client, guest and associate questions. The Lobby Ambassador shall also greet and welcome guests and help with access into the building
  • Review data of the visitor statistics for both preregistered and walk-ins and make suggestions for improvement and efficient management of the lobby


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • High School diploma or equivalent plus minimum of 3 years related industry experience
    • Associate’s Degree or higher in Hospitality Management

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • 3 years of civilian law enforcement
    • 3 years of private or corporate security experience
    • 3 years of military experience with a positive discharge
    • Criminal Justice Degree or law enforcement related degree, Associate’s or higher
    • Graduate of a law enforcement training academy

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must  be able to successfully complete all training required for the position
  • Must  be able to work flexible schedules
  • Must  be able demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must submit to a pre-employment drug test
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected

Major activity:        Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:      Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching, and reaching
