Job Introduction:

We are seeking to recruit an interim Service Delivery Manager to cover an area of the Midlands, for a large, national, government contract

Role Responsibility:

  • Manage resources to meet daily delivery schedules and business requirements for these services within the prescribed budget
  • Liaise with client providing advice regarding service issues ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship so that Client needs are understood and the company reputation enhanced
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Lead and develop skilled teams to meet operational and business needs in a customer focused manner
  • Support the team in continually reviewing operational procedures to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Develop and support a positive team ethos within the FM working group
  • Ensure that resources in the employed team are managed to ensure contractual obligations are met, including management of annual leave, absence and performance
  • Manage staff induction, training, and performance reviews of direct reports to ensure they are competent to meet the contractual requirements
  • Manage effective financial forecasting so that department budgets are achieved
  • Collate, analyse and review information, including budgets, rostered hours and forecasts in order to monitor and report on performance.
  • Management of meetings as required
  • Continually audit and review service areas to ensure high standards and costs are achieved to drive though efficiencies and improved practices inline with the Business Improvement Model
  • Carry out the policies and procedures of G4S and host establishment, including: Fire, Health and Safety, Accident Management, Security, Infection Control, Complaints, and Confidentiality
  • Deputise for the Regional Manager in his/her absence
  • Undertake hands on duties as and when required to achieve team goals

The Ideal Candidate:

  • TFM Management experience
  • Broad management experience within a customer focused multi-functional service delivery environment, including CAFM systems operation.
  • A high level understanding of building fabric and M&E services
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to handle issues of high sensitivity

**this role is a 6 month fixed term contract**
