Job Introduction:


The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Corporate Risk Specialist. As a Corporate Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for entering project numbers from PeopleSoft into a database and tracking Strategic Account projects for management and billing purposes, creating invoices for clients, open billable events into the accounting software, maintain tracking sheets for financial purposes, and providing support to the Field Directors. Other duties include providing basic support for accounts receivable and payable for strategic accounts including entering requisitions for purchase orders, scanning and filing, reviewing the aging account receivables regularly and sending notifications to client, while providing support service to the Supervisor, and Business Development and Administrative Director. Other duties may include:

  • Reviewing and Formatting of Risk Assessment Reports
  • RFP writing for bids and proposals
  • Creating and executing Letters of Agreement
  • Prepare accurate communication via email to employees, Directors, and clients
  • Assist with shared drive
  • Maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • All other duties assigned

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Identify and communicate daily all actionable items in the unit email in order to support project management and provide necessary documentation in support of client needs
  • Provide timely communications and actionable information to Supervisor and Director in order to maintain revenue forecasts, purchase order funds and accounts receivables
  • Open and assign project numbers and complete data entry regarding revenue and associated costs, generate invoices based on specific client requirements and submit to client
  • Establish relationships with internal and external partners to assist clients and Field Directors to closely manage billable projects to ensure monthly expenses and revenue match
  • Manage accounts receivables for Strategic Accounts and collaborate with internal and external customers to receive or apply payments
  • Prepare accurate communication via email to employees, Directors, clients, and vendors
  • Assist with maintenance of documents in the shared team drive
  • Ability to assist with administrative, billing or operational duties as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as, criminology, criminal justice, political science, international studies, national security, business, accounting, finance or any other related field
    • High School diploma or equivalency with a minimum of 3 years of military, government, or security industry experience or relevant corporate experience in finance, administration or project management

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Indoor; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity:  Sitting, speaking, listening, observing; computer and telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
