Hybrid Working with travel to our site in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham, South Yorkshire

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Our G4S Customer Contact Centre in Wath Upon Dearne provides advice and support to the public on behalf of our clients. We have experienced rapid growth and are now a team of over 2000 people who spend their day helping people. 

 

About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our business, where your role will play a key part in our organisational success supporting Life Contracts, Demobilisation, Business Readiness and Continuous Improvement. 

Previous experience in Project Management, as well as Change Management is essential and you will be resilient, a team player and passionate about making a difference.

This role will be crucial to support the streamlining of the current business model while identifying opportunities that will enable G4S to maintain its cutting edge position in the market.

Close engagement with the client, as well as internal stakeholders, will be key to continuous improvement, where you will focus on Project Managing the seamless delivery of all aspects of change across the business including planning, training, and financial impacts. 

 

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Change Request pipeline, preparing impact analysis and reporting to support the safe, cost effective and successful landing of all change initiatives.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, defining project strategy, scope and objectives.
  • Adequately prepare the business and continuously engage all appropriate stakeholders to enable project outputs to be implemented and embedded.
  • Work to a set budget, identify required objectives, deliverables, timescales and align stakeholders appropriately.
  • Identify, track, manage and mitigate any project risks, assumptions, challenges, and dependencies.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance is delivered at every stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Build and develop the Project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
  • Work closely with the Continuous Improvement Lead – supporting tests and proof of concepts that support the Continuous Improvement Plan.

Essential Criteria:

  • A broad Commercial understanding.
  • Recognised Project Management qualification.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Forward thinking. 
  • Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of working with Government contracts.
  • Experience of delivering Projects in a Contact Centre environment.
