RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT (Maternity Cover) 

 SALARY SCALE £28,000 - £32,000

As a Recruitment Consultant at G4S you would be part of a dedicated HR team responsible for managing the end to end recruitment life cycle of candidates whilst maintaining the core values of G4S. 

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday - Friday. Initially based in our Belfast office however once fully trained a hybrid working model can be adopted. 

THE ROLE

  • Managing the recruitment life cycle of a large volume of candidates for a government client.

  • Working closely with the HR Business Partner to define and manage demand plans in line with business requirements.

  • Ensuring sufficient quality talent through proactive candidate generation and management. 

  • Producing engaging job descriptions and advertisements.

  • Direct sourcing through engaging with passive candidates, telephone interviewing, assessing candidates and building market knowledge. 

  • Coordinating interview scheduling, conducting interviews, processing employment offers, screening and onboarding processes.

  • Ensuring effective candidate engagement throughout the end-to-end process. 

  • Effectively working alongside other members of the HR team.

  • Liaising with other HRSS teams such as screening, onboarding and L&D to ensure smooth transition of candidate handovers through the internal process. 

  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets containing weekly delivery data and presenting this to the HR Business Partner and greater management team. 

  • Managing and processing candidate's personal documentation in accordance with GDPR guidelines. 

  • Attend weekly meetings both with the clients contract management team and the SSUK team. 

  • Effective communication with all stakeholders, from potential candidates to directors.

  • Liaising with the operations management team to organise deployment plans for candidates. 

  • Completing reports on the labour force market through external research findings and internal recruitment data.

  • Experience of working in a similar recruitment role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both internally and externally

  • Proficiency in IT

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Be people and solutions focused

  • Be flexible to changing demands and comfortable in adapting to new ways of working

  • Track record of working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
