Location: Hybrid  Home/Trinity Buoy Wharf, London, E14 0JW

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join our friendly team working on the Tower Hamlets School (THS) PFI contract based at Trinity Buoy Wharf. This is a full time hybrid working role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

 

The Compliance Manager will be an integral member of the G4S FM Compliance Board and will play a key role in providing operational advice on audit and compliance matters. This role will provide support for contractual KPIs, compliance (e.g. Health & Safety, Statutory and Mandatory requirements, HTM’s etc.) and other legislative requirements to ensure that the contract operates in a manner which fully meets obligations.

 

Main Areas of Responsibilities will include :

  • To assist Contract Management in managing the contract to ensure all buildings operate and are maintained in accordance with all statutory and mandatory requirements, are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations and in line with the tenant’s/client’s requirements.

  • To assist Contract Management and the Health Safety & Compliance Manager with implementation of the G4S FM Occupational Health & Safety Management System and Safety Improvement Plans within the contract.

  • To prepare and host compliance audits across the contracts and manage non-compliance observations through to close out.

  • To assist with incident investigations, incident statistic collation and analysis. 

  • To coach, mentor the Compliance team and provide expert advice on asset management aligned to legislative requirements and industry best practice.

  • To monitor contract compliance performance and identify future compliance activities via both desk-top activity and site visits.

  • To undertake site safety tours and site audits of the H&S folders, including Water and Fire Log Book compliance reviews.

  • To assist with the delivery of statutory and mandatory H&S training.

  • To track statutory and contractual compliance for the contract through CAFM, the QMS & Simple Compliance, ensuring appropriate staff or subcontractors (supply chain) are mobilised in a manner to avoid non-compliance issues and risks.

  • To assist in the production of operational, commercial and client required contractual and compliance documentation and reports.

  • To arrange and host weekly compliance meetings with key stakeholders.

  • To issue Authority to Works and where required, Permits to Works for high-risk tasks.

  • To complete compliance inspections, auditing, risk assessment and report writing.

  • To remain up to date with and ensure Estates and Facilities management compliance with regulatory requirements, (in particular HTM, HBN, CQC, Mental Health Act and HSE requirements).


The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in the role, you will be a confident, experienced team manager with an eye for detail and excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills. An analytical approach and strong decision-making abilities are essential along with competent IT skills across a range of packages i.e. Google, Word, Excel, PowerPoint including Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) and SFG20

 

A NEBOSH General Certificate is required
