Salary: £27,040 per annum

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week

Location: North Wiltshire Schools, SN15 3XB

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Caretaker to join our friendly team working on our North Wiltshire schools PFI contract. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, various shifts between the hours of 11am and 7pm.

You would be working across our three sites, SN4 7HG, SN15 3XB, SN16 0DF.

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Caretaker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for locking up the school each day, completing relevant H&S checks,  maintaining a safe school environment and completing minor repairs/DIY work.

Responsibilities

• Management of site security.
• Locking up.
• Ensuring sites are safe and Health and Safety issues are dealt with.
• Managing/completing general maintenance tasks.
• Managing/completing monthly H&S checks.
• Maintaining records to ensure compliance.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential

• Good problem solving skills.

• Proactive approach.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Good working knowledge of maintenance activities.

• Knowledge of the requirements to meet Statutory Compliance.

• IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft or Google sheets and document apps and be able to complete online learning modules.
