JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE:
The primary role of the Business Analyst (BA) will be to define and develop new processes and workflows in line with customer requirements, and in conjunction with new systems and technology deployments.
The BA will need to evaluate, analyse and understand the current ‘as is’ service state and processes and design and map future service state workflows, promoting solutions and ideas that lead to improvements in service quality and increases in operational efficiency. They will ensure all changes are fully documented and communicated to all members of the team.
The BA will need to collaborate and coordinate with a combination of internal, customer and vendor (subcontractor/ supplier) stakeholders to drive the successful implementation of the processes; monitoring and tracking scope and requirements changes, and analysing data to evaluate and calibrate workflows throughout the implementation.
The position will also require strong administrative and organisational skills.
This role will be a hybrid role with home and office based work however regular travel to the division hub in Tewkesbury will be required thus a driving licence is required for this position. Residing within a commutable distance of Tewekbury will be advantageous.
The position requires the candidate to be flexible around the demands and requirements of the relevant projects which may include occasional evening and weekend working.
A positive and flexible attitude to teamwork and a willingness to learn and get stuck in is critical as the BA will need to support the team members and other workstreams as required with tasks and deliverables of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Conduct systems analytics to model and evaluate proposed workflows.
Process mapping of integrated workflows, systems and ways of working.
Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and service quality.
Support digital/ IT/ Systems designers and developers to implement system and user interfaces.
Lead process development communications and meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and develop solutions to circumvent, solve and improve operational performance.
Analysis, Verification and Validation of system data relating to process implementation.
Communication of change in process with all affected stakeholders including members of the G4S business in all areas.
Assist with the training and support of staff/ end users with new functionality and processes
Prioritising own work whilst ensuring service level agreements are met
