We have a great new opportunity to join our Regional Aviation team as a Training, compliance and Assurance Manager. You will need to drive profitable growth in the Region through development and leadership of an effective airport operational team that operates through the G4S Values; delivery of excellent service to existing Local and National customers; improving operating efficiency and; expanding the portfolio. This is a National role to cover all airports throughout the United Kingdom.
To contribute to the effectiveness of the regional team through responsibilities and participation in initiatives that support the development of the business in the North.
To ensure all services are delivered in line with the G4S quality management system and the National aviation security programme Syllabus and remain 100% compliant in all areas, including, but not limited to, operational delivery, training, SOPs, RA, and BCP plans for respective airports.
What you will be doing
Will be to define the portfolio (which may be by geography, customer segment or functional specialisation) and develop and agree a Strategic Plan for its development.
To deliver results from the Region that meet or exceed the Business Plan, Budget and Forecasts through full responsibility and accountability for the delegated P&L and effective use of Management, other Area staff and G4S support functions.
Build, develop, lead and retain a team of Support Staff and Officers that believe and demonstrate through their work that G4S is different to other Security service providers through:
To be aware of and (with the assistance of G4S support functions) ensure all staff and officers in the respective airports comply with all aspects of G4S Policy and relevant legal and regulatory requirements and can demonstrate appropriate levels of control.
To actively participate and support the development of G4S through:
Involvement in the development of the G4S strategy and its implementation through initiatives.
Support to other Regions and the G4S support functions by sharing best practice; and contributing to specific National projects and customer or partner relationships as agreed.
Building knowledge of the market and competitors; and enhance the profile of G4S through engagement of Area staff and participation in local Industry forums.
