Exciting Opportunity: Data Centre Security Officer in Clondalkin

G4S Secure Solutions (Ire) is seeking highly skilled Data Centre Security Officers for a prestigious client in Clondalkin. Pay Rate: €16.86 per hour + Sunday Premium €3.44 and night allowances paid.

Main Purpose of Position:

Protect our client's property, people, and assets by delivering top-notch security services in line with site procedures and policies.

 

Role Responsibilities:

Monitor Systems: Oversee Access Control & Camera Systems (Genetec, Lenel, Brivo)

Respond to Alarms: Address Access Control Alarms using systems and cameras

Communication: Coordinate with Office Coordinators across the EMEA region

Reporting: Compile daily SOC activities into shift reports and create Incident Reports

Global Security: Ensure the Shift Lead is updated on all global security operations

Customer Service: Answer calls and provide security services coordination

Dispatch: Use radio to dispatch and track Security Officers' calls for requests

Technical Support: Identify and log Access Control malfunctions, raise tickets for equipment, systems, or facilities requests

Emergency Coordination:

Manage emergency incidents with Physical Security Officers

Liaise with First Responders

Participate in regular training and scenario-based security drills

Follow escalation policies during emergencies

Execute Emergency SOC Protocols

 

Experience:

In-depth knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems within a SOC environment

Essential experience with Access Control Systems (Genetec, Lenel, S2, CCure, etc.)

Beneficial experience in threat monitoring software

Proven ability to deliver comprehensive oral and written reports

Personal Attributes:

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to respond calmly and effectively to situations

Multi-tasker capable of working under pressure

Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Punctual with an excellent attendance record

Self-starter with minimal supervision

 

Requirements:

Valid PsA (Static Security) license

Safepass, First Aid, and Manual Handling certifications

2 years of experience in a similar role

Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Full flexibility and availability to work days, evenings, and weekends

5 years of verifiable work and personal history

Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail
