Location: Dublin | Salary: 16.50 | Posted: 16 Jul 2024 | Closes: 31 Dec 9999 | Reference: Job Req ID 1462 | Business Unit: Dublin Guarding 1G4S Secure Solutions (Ire) are currently recruiting for an experienced Control Centre Operator for our client site in Dublin City Centre. 12 hour shifts, days & nights rotating.
Basic Pay: €16.50 per hour, + Sunday premium, overtime, bank holiday and unsociable hours paid.
Role responsibilities:
- Monitoring Access Control & Camera Systems (Genetec,Lenel, Brivo)
- Address Access Control Alarms via Access Control Systems & Cameras
- Coordinate & communicate with all Office Coordinators in EMEA region
- Compile daily SOC activities into daily shift reports
- Creating Incident Reports as described in SOC Protocols
- Ensure Shift Lead is aware of all global security operations
- Answer telephone calls and provide security services coordination
- Use radio to dispatch and track Security Officers calls for requests
- Identify and Log Access Control malfunctions
- Raising tickets for failing equipment, systems or facilities requests
Coordinating Emergencies:
- Coordinate Emergency incidents with Physical Security Officers
- Coordinate & communicate with First Responders
- Participate in regular training and scenario-based security drills
- Coordinate Emergency incidents by following the escalation policies
- Understand and execute Emergency SOC Protocols
Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of CCTV, integrated access control, intruder alarm systems and procedures in the SOC environment.
- Access Control System (Genetec, Lenel, S2, CCure etc.) experience is essential
- Experience in threat monitoring software is highly beneficial
- Strong IT skills – including excellent knowledge of Microsoft systems including but not limited to, Office,Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in providing comprehensive oral and written reports in a structured clear and informative manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Have 1+ years of experience in SOC or GSOC is required
- Must have valid PSA Static Security License
