Door Supervisor, SIA Response Team - Manchester & surrounding areas 

Pay: £15 per hour 

MandatoryRequirements: SIA Door Supervisor Licence and MUST have a minimum of 12 months experience of working in a response type role or nighttime economy setting; Bars, Pubs or Clubs.

About the Role

G4S Events are currently recruiting experienced SIA DS Licenced Response Team Officers to join our teams working on high profile contracts in and around Manchester, including Burnley FC and other events within the Greater Manchester area.  If you’re confident, professional, and ready to work in a fast-paced Events environment, we want to hear from you!

This role offers flexible work options, making it ideal for those seeking a second job or additional income. You’ll also have opportunities to work at cricket and football matches or music concerts, and even some of the biggest events across the UK if you’re open to travel.

As a Response Team Officer, you’ll be the visible, friendly face of safety, helping to ensure visitors and staff have a safe and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in handling incidents at events and dealing with conflict management situations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conflict Management 

• Crowd Control

• Customer ejections from site

• Diffuse aggressive behaviour and situations calmly

• Deal with problematic incidents in a professional manner

• Search visitors on entry and prevent prohibited items from entering secure zones

• Monitor visitor and crowd behaviour and respond to any disruptions

• Secure licensed and hospitality areas
  
  

Requirements

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence

• Minimum of 12 months experience in either a response role or nightlife hospitality setting; pubs, bars, clubs

• Availability for evenings and/or weekends

• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Physically fit; with the capacity to handle physical interventions if and when required
