About the role and team:

Working as part of an energetic and friendly team reporting into the Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for payroll through PayGlobal across numerous different contracts and various awards and EBA's. You will be an integral part of the Payroll team, working closely with a variety of staff and external bodies.

This role reports to the Payroll Team Lead and is based in our Corporate Office in Melbourne CBD.

  • Join a dedicated team of two
  • Payroll of approx. 1500 employees across Australia and New Zealand
  • Processing fortnightly and Monthly pay runs
  • Multiple sites across VIC, QLD, NSW, WA, SA, NT and New Zealand

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Processing multiple end-to-end payroll processes in a complex environment
  • Processing workers' compensation, other payments such as parental leave and deductions
  • Managing the full lifecycle of employee payroll data, from establishing new hire and termination details
  • Calculations of long-service leave, PAYG, superannuation and annual leave
  • Processing ad-hoc monthly and quarterly reports as required
  • Payroll reconciliations

What we're looking for:

We are keen to hear from customer service-oriented payroll professionals who can demonstrate 3-4+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally working across multiple enterprise agreements and awards. The successful person will also be able to demonstrate;

  • Experience using MYOB Payglobal
  • Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and requirements.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally working across multiple enterprise agreements and awards
  • Experience with UKG and SuccessFactors is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency
