SOFT SERVICES DUTY MANAGER
Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm
Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE
G4S Facilities Management we have an exciting opportunity for a Soft Services Duty Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis based at Churchill Hospital, Oxford.
We are looking for a dynamic and reliable individual who will work as part of the FM team undertaking a range of duties comprising of, porterage, domestic services, front of house and security in a healthcare environment as part of a rota, which provides 24/7 support to the Soft FM teams and Head of Soft FM.
Responsibilities

Support the Head of Soft FM, Domestic Manager, and Porterage Manager in Soft FM Services, acting as Deputy when needed.

Act as primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an effective and cooperative working partnership.

Manage and monitor performance of Soft FM Services whilst on duty.

Ensure adherence to contractual SLAs and KPIs.

Monitor the Concept system Open Task Report daily, ensuring all tasks are logged in line with agreed protocols.

Provide advice on contract interpretation and implementation.

Be responsible for COSHH and ISO compliance (Appointed in SHE Matrix).

Undertake Accident Investigation reporting and closure, plus Level 3.

Enforce company policies for Soft FM contractor procurement to satisfy contracts.

Maintain and update Safe Systems of Work and Procedures for contractors to minimise environmental impact and ensure safe practices.

Manage and be responsible for the update and maintenance of risk assessments and method statements by site/contractor staff in scope.

Maintain competencies in and provide appropriate advice and guidance to contractors/employees/management to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with H&S.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential
-
Operational experience within Facilities Management in a healthcare environment (Soft FM).

Line management/ Supervisory experience.
-
Working to service performance KPIs.
-
Budget management.
-
Knowledgeable of relevant Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permit to Work procedures.

Experience of CAFM system.
-
IT literacy in MS Office Suite and Google.
