Role Responsibility:

SECURITY OFFICER

 

Salary: £11.71 per hour


Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week. 

 

This role will be contracted to 40 hours per week, covering a variety of shift patterns including full days, part days, plus night or weekend working and this could sometimes be at short notice. It is important that the individual successful in this role has a good degree of flexibility to accommodate the variable needs of the site. 

 

Location: Manchester Magistrates Court, Manchester, M60 1PR

 

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Security Officer on a full-time, permanent basis based in Manchester.

 

We are looking for someone who is reliable, an excellent communicator and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to ensure safety across the site.

 

To be successful for this role, you MUST have an SIA Door Supervisor badge to be able to progress to the next stage.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safety of client’s staff; their building and assets.
  • Completing searches using hand wands; metal detector arches and x-ray equipment.
  • Maintaining secure environments with regular internal and external building patrols.
  • Car Park access control.
  • Monitoring CCTV.
  • Responding to /and dealing with emergency situations and completing incident reports.
  • Preparing Visitor passes.
