REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

 

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8.30 - 5pm
Location: London, E14 0JW

 

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Regional Operations Manager on a full-time, permanent basis based in London.

 

We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication and influencing skills who has the ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the Liftco portfolio including client management, supply chain management, SLA/KPI performance and full P&L responsibility for their areas of control. 


Responsibilities

  • Maintain Liftco portfolio integrity through established policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure the job holders' Portfolio meets high quality standards in all areas of activity;
  • Health & Safety - near misses are captured, lessons learnt and accidents avoided.
  • Statutory Compliance - all inspections are planned in good time and remedial work scheduled sas required.
  • Maintenance - assigned, completed on time, reviewed, audited and reported on so as to provide confidence.
  • Commercial compliance - Satisfy and maintain the commercial requirements of the contract.
  • SLA & KPI Compliance - all works are carried out and completed so as to not incur loss or penalty
  • Penalty or availabilities - if penalties are incurred, they are investigated and mitigated where possible
  • Ensure the implementation, maintenance, and delivery of planned maintenance programmes across all sites.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers, providing timely communications, updates, and reports.
  • Opportunities for enhancing contract performance are recognized, discussed, and implemented.
  • Maintain the annual financial budget for all sites within areas of responsibility by meeting financial objectives and targets.

 

Essential

  • Ability to manage various technical contractors.
  • Commercially aware with a proven ability to successfully undertake commercial negotiations with external customers.
  • Experienced in PFI management, in particular performance measure.
  • Health & Safety aware.
  • Working knowledge of water hygiene management in healthcare premises.
  • Knowledge of key operational management disciplines, e.g quality control, work planning methods, planned maintenance systems, CAFM.

 

Desirable

  • Educated to a degree, HNC or equivalent standard.
  • Technical expertise and qualifications in Building Services engineering.
  • Qualification in water hygiene management in healthcare premises, or Legionella control/ management.
  • Minimum of five years operational management experience including at least one role with accountability for the management of a PFI contract.
  • At least one substantial role successfully managing a medium sized operational activity with clear profit accountability.
