Salary: £33,750 - £35,237 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Various shifts
Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a General Shift Technician on a full-time, permanent basis based in Oxford.
We are looking for a talented individual who is agile and has excellent communication skills. The role involves assisting with the ongoing maintenance and repairs of all assets whilst working in accordance with health and safety legislation.
Responsibilities
-
To support the Site Manager with basic Building and Fabric maintenance works
-
To maintain and repair fixtures, fittings, landscaping and cosmetic works within the hospital buildings as appropriate within skill level
-
To follow the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required
-
To assist the Site Manager with routine building maintenance tasks
-
To respond to generated alarms and faults and escalate to the Site Manager
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential
-
Maintenance experience.
-
Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety procedures.
-
Reliable, conscientious with an eye for detail.
Desirable
-
Skilled in a wide range of repairs
-
Working knowledge of PAT testing.
-
Skilled in ground maintenance.
