Events Safety Steward - Glasgow

£12.00 per hour

With a very busy year ahead G4S Events Team is seeking to recruit additional Events Safety Stewards to work across a number of key events in Glasgow. This is your chance to be involved in the live entertainment events you love, including OVO Hydro, SWG3 Glasgow and New Edmiston House, as well as there are opportunities to work at sports venues such as Hampden Park, Ibrox Park, Celtic Football Club and Scotstoun Stadium. Our Events Safety Stewards provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff, therefore you will be responsible for securing the venues, staff and visitors for our customers. 

This may include:

• Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures

• Greeting, assisting, and directing visitors attending the event

• Monitoring visitor/crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary

• Providing a high standard of customer care

Requirements:

• Previous experience in events is not essential as full training will be provided

• Must be over 18 years old

• Evening and weekend availability required

• Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification not essential, but must be willing to complete the fully funded training once on board

• Excellent communication skills and customer focused
