We are seeking a talented and meticulous Cloud Data Reporting Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join our team. This is a head office role with constant exposure to senior decision makers across the International business in a leading security and facility services company.

 

We are looking for someone with a passion for data who can think outside the box using the latest google cloud technologies. Not only will you be able to collect, analyse and interpret large datasets, you will need to have the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights to drive better business decision-making. 

 

You will be able to work independently and as part of a team. Being a strong communicator is key to this role being successful, as the successful candidate will translate complex data into reports, presentations and visualisations to various stakeholders across the business. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations using cloud-based reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo,Power BI, Looker).

  • Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources, including cloud databases, data warehouses, and APIs. Analyse this data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

  • Stay current  with the latest trends and best practices in data reporting and visualisation and design and implement data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports and dashboards.

  • Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Contribute to the development of data governance and data management processes.

 

Requirements 

  • A background in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence, acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and reporting tools (e.g Google BigQuery).

  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.

 

Skills Required:

  • Data Preparation, Analysis and Presentation

  • Data Warehousing

  • SQL experience

  • Understanding of AI, Python / R, Machine learning and Data Governance and Security would be desirable. 

 

This role can be based in the United Kingdom with the flexibility to work from home, however you will be required to attend on-site locations and our head office in London SW1H 0DB when necessary. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. In return we offer a salary up to £30,500. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, contributory pension scheme and employee benefits such as perks at work.

Relocation costs will not be granted.
