Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 12:00pm-7:30pm

 

Location: Manchester Magistrates Court, Manchester, M60 1PR

Manchester Magistrates Court handles low level criminal offences and is located in the heart of Manchester with access to great transport links.

 

We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to join our friendly team to ensure the Cleaning Services team is providing a high-quality cleaning service. This is a part-time role based at Manchester Magistrates Court working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 12:00pm - 7:30pm (half an hour unpaid break).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and lead the Cleaning Services team.
  • People management including inductions, return to work meetings, time keeping, cleaning standards, training and development, appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies.
  • Manage staff rotas to meet fluctuations in staffing levels, arranging agency cover when required.
  • Follow Health & Safety requirements ensuring the completion of accident forms and reporting hazards.
  • Maintain and control the issuing and usage of cleaning materials and ensure they are left secured when not in use.
  • Monitor PPE provision and ensure it’s appropriately used.


The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous Supervisory experience in a cleaning environment.
  • Proven cleaning experience.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Organised and Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload.
