About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Coordinator to join our team at Hinkley Point C. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. As a Building Coordinator you will be responsible for your assigned building, communicating regularly with the buildings key stakeholders, responsible for overseeing all FM audits throughout the building, liaising with the Soft and Hard Services teams on the buildings service requirements, ensuring that all tasks are captured on the CAFM system and regular meetings with the Helpdesk team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Contract Operations team  to deliver agreed contract goals and objectives
  • Working and communicating closely with the building key stakeholder’s
  • Support the mobilisation planning of all new buildings coming on line 
  • Point of contact with the client
  • Responsible for reporting of progress and performance
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working  relationships at all levels
  • Working with the Contract operations team to deliver the key contract deliverables.
  • Oversee building Audits
  • To manage and allocate resources to meet daily delivery schedules and business requirements for these services within the prescribed budget
  • To work closely with the client, offering and sharing advice & knowledge, taking a joined up approach in relation to FM service delivery
  • To ensure that robust procedures and processes are in place and adhered to in order to maintain staffing levels appropriate to contractual requirements.
  • Liaise with the hard services team to appoint reactive and PPM tasks
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes for consumables and project work
  • Support the wider FM team in delivering the service as agreed in the SLA
  • To actively contribute to the development of your team, ensuring that Employee Development Reviews are carried out in a timely manner ensuring that they accurately capture development needs.
  • To ensure duties carried out by your team are audited by you on a regular basis, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to meet that development need
  • To ensure that at all times, the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the Company
  • To actively suggest new methods of working which will enhance the level of service delivered to our customer
  • To support with the supervision of other ‘HPC Site Teams’ as outlined within the HPC Org Structure in the absence regular Team Leaders.  
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Senior Management Team and provide cover for other team members where appropriate

Essential

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and balance priorities.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
  • A resilient team player, with drive, enthusiasm, passion, strong planning and coordination skills

 

Desirable: 

  • FM/Building/Construction background
  • Knowledge of CAFM Evolution
  • Project/Change management skills would be an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years experience of developing and leading a team
