Salary: £45,000 to £47,250 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7am and 4pm
Location: Cheltenham, GL51 0EX

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.
We are looking for someone who possesses a positive and helpful attitude, and can demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. You will have a genuine interest in training and supporting fellow team members, fostering a culture of learning and development within the workplace. With experience in a facilities management environment you will deliver planned and reactive maintenance on refrigeration systems of various sizes on a fixed site.
Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and reactive work on various refrigeration systems, including chillers, split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and domestic refrigeration.

Address defects and faults, collaborating with team members to identify root causes.

Maintain and update F-Gas records.

Identify and procure materials for maintenance tasks.

Utilise a tablet and CAFM system to record maintenance activities.

Interpret O&M manuals and site building drawings.

Collaborate with supervisors and managers to enhance service delivery and improve plant performance.

Flexibility in work hours may be required, including occasional overtime.

Work with other trades on reactive maintenance as needed.

Maintain regular contact with client representatives and adhere to corporate safety policies.

Identify training opportunities to meet corporate objectives and support succession planning.

Uphold a professional attitude and image in all service delivery aspects.
