Cleaner (Alternating Shift Pattern)

Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset (TA5 1UD)

Full-Time, Permanent 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Salary: £16.02 per hour + Daily Travel Allowance


G4S Facilities Management is seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our team at Hinkley Point C (HPC). Working as part of a supportive team, you will play an essential role in keeping the site clean, safe, and running smoothly. No matter your experience level, we provide the support and training you need to deliver high-quality cleaning standards every day.


Shift Pattern & Working Hours

This is a full-time, 39-hour per week role operating on an alternating shift pattern:

  • Early Shift Pattern:

    • Monday – Thursday: 05:30 – 14:00
    • Friday: 05:30 – 13:00

  • Late Shift Pattern:

    • Monday – Thursday: 13:30 – 22:00
    • Friday: 12:30 – 20:00

  • Weekend Requirement:

    • 1 in 4 weekends: Saturday (08:00 – 17:00) & Sunday (08:00 – 16:00)

Free Site Travel: Complimentary transport via Park & Ride locations across the region, including Junctions 23, 24, and 25, Burnham-on-Sea, Minehead, Williton, Weston-super-Mare, Taunton, and Bridgwater.

Daily Travel Allowance: Extra daily pay dependent on your allocated bus pick-up point.


Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Cleaning Duties: Carry out a range of daily cleaning tasks across designated site areas.

  • High Standards: Maintain an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.

  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a wider cleaning team to deliver smooth service operations.

  • Health & Safety: Follow safety instructions, procedures, and site guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all workers.


Essential Criteria

  • Candidates should possess sufficient English language skills to follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues.

  • Flexible & reliable.

  • A commitment to high standards of cleanliness and timekeeping.

  • Experience in undertaking a range of cleaning duties.


Desirable

  • Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage but no experience necessary
