Job Opportunity: Delivery Driver at G4S (Allied Universal)

Location: Harlow

Salary: Up to £39,886.08 for a full time worker*

The hourly rate of pay is £15.38 in the first 6 months, rising to £15.68 and rising to £15.98 after 12 months, overtime opportunities are available but are not guaranteed.

*The above-quoted salary is based on a 48-hour working week after 12 months.

The Role:

Join G4S, a world-leading secure solutions company, as a Delivery Driver. You will be responsible for the secure delivery and collection of cash and valuables, as well as replenishing ATMs. This is a vital role serving the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive securely and courteously to scheduled destinations.

• Deliver and collect cash/valuables within set time windows.

• Replenish ATMs.

• Conduct vehicle checks and report any issues.

• Adhere to strict security procedures and wear the provided uniform/PPE.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence.

• dependable, punctual, and professional.

• Good communication skills (written and spoken English).

• Numeracy skills and ability to follow procedures.

• Physical fitness (lifting heavy items involved).

• 10-year checkable history (employment/education).

• Ability to pass criminal record, credit, and ID checks.

We also have some specific security criteria that you will need to meet:

• You must be able to pass a criminal record check as well as a personal credit and ID check.
• You’ll need to provide 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify.
• You will need to be prepared to undergo airport style searches when entering and leaving our premises and be comfortable working within a secure warehouse environment.

This role will be subject to a medical review, which may include a medical assessment with an occupational health practitioner. We will provide all the training and support to help you to progress as a key member of our world-class team.
