School Catering Supervisor (Term Time Only – Perfect School Hours!)

Pay: £13.21 per hour

Shift Pattern: Part-Time, 32.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 15:00)

Work Pattern: Term Time Only (39 weeks per year – All school holidays off!)

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the Kitchen: Supervising a friendly team to prepare, cook, and serve fresh, healthy meals for students and staff.

• Hands-on Cooking: Getting involved in daily food preparation and kitchen setup.

• Maintaining Standards: Ensuring high levels of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and cleanliness.

• Daily Administration: Assisting with simple food ordering, stock checks, and daily cashing-up procedures.

What we’re looking for:

• Kitchen Experience: Previous experience working in catering, food preparation, or kitchen environments.

• People Skills: A warm, encouraging attitude with the confidence to lead and support a small team.

• Hygiene Focus: Basic understanding of food safety guidelines (Food Hygiene Certificate is a bonus, but we can train you!).

• Reliability: Good timekeeping, organization, and a passion for providing good service to students.

• Note: As this role is based in a school, successful candidates will complete a standard background check (DBS).
