About the role and team

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Executive Assistant/Administrator to work in our Administration Team and provide comprehensive support to the General Manager at Mount Gambier Prison. You will be a key point of contact, managing information flow and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information.

In this role you will:

• Act as the first point of contact for the General Manager, managing and prioritising requests.
• Prepare and review high-quality communications on behalf of the General Manager.
• Collaborate with the Senior Management Team on various projects, including correspondence, budgeting, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and management of systems.
• Perform general office duties, such as answering phones, filing, and photocopying.

What we're looking for

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated administrative experience and computer literacy, working within Senior Corporate Teams.
• Experience within corrections or justice (desirable).
• A valid Driver's Licence.
