Key responsibilities includes:
- Program & Governance Management: Oversee the development, resourcing, and delivery of core educational, wellbeing, and therapeutic programs, implementing robust governance frameworks and ensuring all contract specifications are strictly met.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with TAFE, training partners, external service providers, SAPOL, and crucial Department for Correctional Services (DCS) stakeholders.
- Sentence Planning & Case Management: Ensure sentence planning obligations and case management reviews are conducted at required intervals, with direct oversight of complex cases and serious offenders.
- Cultural & Community Engagement: Promote First Nations, cultural, and religious portfolios, supporting partnership programs such as The Torch and facilitating prisoner participation in service development.
- Budgetary & Operational Control: Manage allocated program budgets effectively, optimize scheduling/rostering, and drive process improvements and cost efficiencies across your portfolios.
What we're looking for: To execute this role successfully, candidates must possess a strong, resilient nature paired with proven leadership capabilities in complex human services or secure environments. Requirements include:
- Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate strong, complex characters.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing external service providers and government bodies.
- A firm understanding of risk assessment, mitigation management, and sentence planning when working with complex individuals.
- A caring, non-judgmental approach focused on helping individuals succeed regardless of personal beliefs.
