WORKS ALLOCATION MANAGER
Salary: £46,000 - £52,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 4:00pm
Location: Cheltenham
Excellent benefits package including 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and a £2,000 annual retention bonus (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to achieving and maintaining clearance requirements.
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Works Allocation Manager on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.
We are looking for a dedicated and professional candidate to join our site-based operations team. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing our facilities management by directing all contractors engaged in planned and reactive works. A key part of this will be managing the CAFM system to efficiently deliver Hard FM planned and capital works, directly supporting our operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing all Contractors who undertake Planned, Corrective and Remedial works.
- Ensuring that these works are booked in accordance with the annual schedule.
- Liaise with Procurement as required for quotations for Reactive and Corrective works undertaken by external contractors.
- Check RAMS reviewing Safe System of Works, issue Permits to Work as required.
- Undertaking Safety checks on a periodic basis
- Provide weekly updates on PPM performance, repairs and critical assets for review.
- To review current PPM schedules with the Asset Manager regularly and recommend any changes required.
- To ensure compliance with current standards and regulations and provide H&S with relevant documentation for audits.</li>
- Support of external and internal audits as required ensuring corrective actions are addressed within agreed timeframes.
- Line Manager responsibility for the Scheduling team and Security escorts, provide management support, undertake PDRs, organise training and recruitment.
- Ensuring that resources are correctly allocated and all work streams are supported.
- Ensure that work records are accurately returned and maintained.
- Report on all health and safety incidents, accidents and near misses together with DWB’s.
- Deputise for Operations Manager as and where required.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Management experience, together with experience of managing supply chains.
- IOSH qualification or similar.
- Good IT literacy skills inc microsoft office
- Understanding of CDM Regulations 2017
- Knowledge of CAFM systems
Desirable Criteria:
- Trade qualifications (Electrical and/or Mechanical
- NEBOSH or similar
- Experience in working in a similar FM service delivery environment
- Membership of a professional body
- Knowledge of BMS systems
