Position:Surveillance Operative

Location: On the road - Dublin and surrounding Counties / Midlands Regions

Starting Annual Salary: €35,000 - Rising with Service

Hours: 40 per week + Overtime, enhanced rates apply

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts, basic rates apply, with full flexibility to cover evenings and weekends, enhanced rates apply

Allied Universal Compliance & Investigations is Ireland's leading supplier of investigation solutions to the Irish Insurance industry. We are seeking a Surveillance Operative to join our team.

Polite Notice: Only applicants who are aged 21 and over, and who hold a full manual Irish driving licence can be considered for this position. 

Job Description: To work within a team under the supervision of a team leader to undertake covert surveillance operations with the purposes of obtaining video evidence of a subject.

What you’ll do:

  • Observe and film subjects in accordance with relevant legislation and our code of conduct
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of observations and provide evidence at court if required to do so
  • Investigate and carry out enquiries and investigations as directed by the Area Manager

What we’re looking for: 

  • Hold a Full Manual Irish Driving License and have unrestricted Right to Work in Ireland
  • Hold a valid PSA Private Investigator Employee License, Category 08A (advantegeous) 
  • Have high levels of concentration and patience, with good observational skills
  • Be a good communicator
  • Have good Driving skills
  • Be prepared to work flexible working hours which can change at short notice
  • Be able to accurately record evidence and complete other admin
  • Be prepared to provide Evidence at a Court of Law if required
  • Be calm and adaptable in ever changing situations
  • Physically fit, able to carry out foot Surveillance when required

Training: Full training will be provided free of charge, unless the candidate leaves within the first 12 months of employment, in which case a contribution towards training costs will be deducted from salary.

Successful applicants will be screened in line with the PSA & G4S vetting requirements, and must be able to provide a full 5 year activity history.
