Overview of the role

As a professionally trained Security Officer for G4S, you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV and surveillance equipment and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Guards (male and female) to maintain a safe and secure environment for our facilities. You will be responsible for a range of security duties, including patrolling, access control, and operating security equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform security duties at fixed posts and conduct patrols around the facilities.
2. Implement access control procedures to limit entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
3. Ensure the safety and security of vehicles entering and departing the facilities.
4. Operate security equipment efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSC)
Language: Proficiency in English (speaking and writing) is essential.
Minimum Height:
Male: 5 feet 5 inches
Tribal Male: 5 feet 2 inches
Female: 5 feet 0 inches
Age: Maximum 40 years (may be relaxed for exceptional candidates).
