ESS Techinical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Site Surveys
Conduct comprehensive Technical Site Surveys (TSS) for new installations, upgrades, and system relocations.
Produce accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical drawings to ensure precise quoting and resource allocation.
Identify potential environmental or structural challenges before deployment.
2. Technical Installation & Maintenance
Lead the installation and configuration of high-end security products including:
Intrusion Alarms: Paradox, IDS, Omni.
Surveillance: Hikvision, Dahua (IP and Analog solutions).
Access Control: ZKTeco, Impro, Biometric systems.
Perimeter Security: Electric Fencing (Nemtek) and Beam Detectors.
Fire Systems: Conventional and Addressable Fire Detection.
Troubleshoot complex system faults that junior technicians cannot resolve.
3. Operational Leadership
Coordinate daily schedules for installation and maintenance teams to ensure 100% uptime for clients.
Monitor and control the deployment of company vehicles, ensuring logbooks are maintained and fuel usage is optimized.
Manage a comprehensive inventory of tools, testing equipment (Multimeters, OTDR, etc.), and consumables.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all works comply with G4S Global Health & Safety Standards and local electrical regulations.
Conduct final "sign-off" inspections on all major projects to ensure aesthetic and functional excellence.
Train staff and end-users on system functionality and basic troubleshooting.
Candidate Specifications & Competencies
Technical Expertise:
Advanced configuration knowledge of Paradox, Hikvision, ZKTeco, and IDS is mandatory.
Solid understanding of IP networking (DHCP, Static IPs, Port Forwarding) as it relates to CCTV and Access Control.
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and floor plans.
Behavioral Attributes:
Demonstrated "sober habits" and a high level of professional ethics.
Willingness to work outside standard business hours, including weekends or on-call rotations, to meet client SLAs.
Ability to manage, mentor, and discipline technical staff while maintaining high morale.
Academic & Professional Requirements
Minimum of a Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related technical field.
At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the electronic security industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or "Lead Technician" capacity.
Specialized manufacturer certifications (e.g., Hikvision HCSA, Paradox certification) will be a distinct advantage.
A valid, clean Class B (or higher) Driver’s License is an added advantage.
