Overview of the role

As a professionally trained Security Officer for G4S, you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV and surveillance equipment and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

Working days - Saturday and Sunday

Position Overview

G4S is seeking a professional, vigilant, and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team in Ballynure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment for our client while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires an individual who can maintain high security awareness, build good rapport, and manage site security protocols effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access Control: Maintain robust access controls for personnel, visitors, and vehicles, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.

  • Visitor Assistance: Assist with queries for visitors in a helpful and welcoming manner, and issue visitor passes in accordance with site guidelines.

  • Client Support & Patrolling: Support our client in securing their premises through regular patrols and active surveillance.

  • Security Protocols & Reporting: Strictly follow all established security protocols, and ensure accurate and detailed reporting of activities or incidents.

  • Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of G4S, providing outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.
