About the role and team:

We are seeking a Control Room Operator to join our County Court team working within the Control Room / Security Command Centre (SCC). The purpose of the role is to maintain operational capability by providing shift coverage across our entire roster. In this full-time relief role, you will maintain uninterrupted facility oversight by covering planned leave and shift rotations. Working a 7 day fortnight roster, you must be available for 12-hour day and night shifts (6:30 AM or 6:30 PM starts), including weekend coverage.

You'll be responsible for:

• Actively monitoring CCTV systems, platforms, and fire, door, and technical alarm panels.

• Dispatching roving security officers to alarm activations and maintaining continuous 24/7 facility monitoring.

• Managing after-hours access control, including sally port operations, loading bay access, pass issuance.

• Acting as the central escalation point for emergencies in accordance with the site Emergency Management Plan.

• Maintaining detailed incident logbooks, and reporting operational events.

• Executing high-volume data entry to input, update, and manage records across internal databases and company software.

What we're looking for:

• Valid Victorian Security License and current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

• Strong computer literacy across monitoring software, alarm panels, and multi-channel radio networks.

• Strong emergency response skills, clear written and verbal communication, and proven ability to multi-task under pressure.

• Control room experience preferred, not essential.
