Business Support Officer - Home based
Salary: £26,538.48 per annum
Working Hours: Fixed Term (end of June 2027), Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday
Location: Home Based (Preston, Lancashire area)
G4S Facilities Management is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Business Support Officer to support our Restart contract, a DWP-funded scheme that helps unemployed individuals return to long-term work. In this home-based role, you will provide key administrative and call-handling support to our delivery teams, Jobcentre Plus partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Warm Handover Calls: Handle incoming warm handover calls between local Jobcentre Plus offices, supply chain partners, and customers in a professional and timely manner.
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to the wider business operations.
Change Management: Accurately process "Change of Circumstance" notifications, ensuring all relevant internal and external parties are kept fully informed.
Mailbox Management: Oversee and manage multiple shared email inboxes, routing queries to the correct teams and tracking them to ensure timely responses.
Stakeholder Relationships: Build positive working relationships across teams while delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Essential
Previous experience in an inbound contact centre environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service.
Strong IT literacy and administrative capability with high attention to detail.
Available to start immediately
Desirable
Experience managing shared email inboxes and coordinating high-volume queries.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, external agencies, or supply chain partners.
