Helpdesk Operator
Salary: £ 12.71 per hour
Working Hours:Wednesday 08:00 - 17:00, Thursday 12:00- 18:00, Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Location: Unit 3, 3 Oswin Road, Leicester LE3 1HR
G4S Facilities Management is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Helpdesk Operator to join our Leicester team on a permanent basis. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for handling customer enquiries, coordinating support services, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. If you have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is a great opportunity to build a rewarding career with our team.
Key Responsibilities
- First-Class Response: Answer incoming calls quickly and manage email requests in our Helpdesk Mailbox, ensuring key service standards are met.
- System Logging: Accurately log, track, and direct customer requests using our dedicated CAFM software system.
- Operational Coordination: Timely raise Purchase Orders for reactive tasks and direct requests to operational teams.
- Client Engagement: Liaise with clients, Local Authorities, and internal managers, providing prompt updates on outstanding work.
- Departmental Support: Maintain accurate records and carry out essential administrative tasks such as filing, auditing, and document management.
Essential
- Experience working in a busy Help Desk, customer service, or reception environment.
- Experience using Google systems
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a composed, professional approach to multitasking.
Desireable
Previous experience using CAFM software systems.
- Familiarity with softphone call-handling tools.
- Background in Facilities Management (FM)
