About the role and the team

We are looking for professional and personable Security Officers to join a newly established team for our high-tech manufacturing client, based in Sydney South East. You will work a 4 on, 4 off roster working as part of a small team onsite at their industrial facility near Botany.

You will be the face of the facility, providing high-quality front-of-house security, managing visitors, and ensuring the safety of a cutting-edge warehouse and office environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Visitor & Access Control: Verifying identification of contractors, visitors, and staff via the Envoy system and issuing visitor badges.
• Site Surveillance: CCTV monitoring (Vigilant), conducting internal and perimeter patrols to identify security risks within the warehouse and office spaces.
• Incident & Fault Management: Diligently reporting incidents and maintenance faults, completing accurate registers and notes on building entry and egress.
• Communication: Using handheld radios and internal messaging platforms to ensure effective team coordination
• Safety & Compliance: Testing equipment and monitoring procedures on a regular basis ensuring adherence to onsite SOP's

About you

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer-facing security roles such as concierge, reception, or commercial warehousing. You will deliver great customer service, whilst having experience dealing with large facilities and high goods movement areas. You will be a friendly team player and be able to maintain high levels of diligence in the workplace. It is essential that you:

• Hold a current NSW 1A Security Licence
• Hold a Current First Aid Certificate
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

• You must have your own reliable transport as public transport to the area is limited
