TECHNICAL DELIVERY ASSISTANT

 

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000  per annum 

Working Hours: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00

Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE

 

Are you looking to bridge the gap between operational support and professional project management? This is a unique opportunity to join our team at the Churchill Hospital.

 

About the role:

As a Technical Delivery Assistant, you will be working closely with the Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a vital role in the operational delivery and projects Lifecycle Projects across both hospitals. This role is directly aligned with a Level 4 Project Manager Apprenticeship starting this March, allowing you to gain a professional qualification while earning a competitive salary in a fast-paced, healthcare-centered environment.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Assist in creating project plans and GANTT charts to track progress.

  • Documentation: Prepare essential lifecycle submissions and project-related documentation.

  • Financial Support: Raise purchase requests and assist in pricing contract variations.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a central point of contact for the PMO, operational staff, and clients.

  • Data Management: Keep project and asset information up to date, ensuring accuracy across the board.

  • Leadership: Opportunity to deputize for the Technical Delivery Manager and attend key project meetings.


Essential:

  • Commitment to Learning: A clear desire to complete the Level 4 Project Management Apprenticeship.

  • IT Skills: Highly IT literate with the ability to use systems to gather, analyze, and present data.

  • Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail to ensure project accuracy and compliance.

  • Communication: Strong customer service skills and the ability to act as a liaison between various stakeholders.

  • Self-Starter: The ability to apply new learning directly to your work and develop your skills on the job.
