About the role

G4S provides security for a major energy provider to ensure a safe and hazard-free environment for their operation. Our Facility Security Officers are trained to support our energy client in delivering energy services safely. In a varied role, their primary responsibility is to ensure the immediate safety and security of the premises and all people on the premises. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Patrolling large areas.
• Serve as part of an Initial Response Team and respond to emergencies and assist paramedics.
• Provide surveillance and de-escalate incidents.
• Perform drug and alcohol tests.
• Provide customer service by assisting all of our client's staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Ensure all facility security systems and services are compliant.
• Submit detailed reports on safety and security hazards or breaches.
  
  

What we're looking for

• Candidates must live locally in Karratha.
• Hold a Western Australian Driver's Licence.
• Hold a Western Australian Security License - Static Guard/Crowd Control
• Hold a Certificate II Security Operations
• Have received or renewed your CPR cert within the year
• MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card), or willing to get this before starting with us.
