G4S Northern Ireland is actively recruiting Events Team Support/Stewards to build our candidate pool for upcoming events within our remit.

If you are a people person who enjoys being in the middle of bustling events and thrives on being part of creating great experiences and delivering on security customer service, we want to hear from you!

We offer the opportunity to join our team of security professionals in delivering security and safety at world-class events, both at home and beyond the shores of Northern Ireland.

Who Should Register Their Interest?

Individuals who hold an SIA License.
Those who enjoy delivering excellent customer service and want to explore the security industry.
Anyone looking to pick up some extra money for their holiday fund.

Essential Criteria

Events experience or front-facing customer service experience.
Security aware.
Willingness to travel (where required for events).

About the Role

Our Stewards provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. This is an active role, meaning you may be on your feet a lot. You will enjoy the buzz of the event while working with and meeting great people.

Duties

Category	Duty
Safety & Compliance	Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures.
	Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venue.
Crowd & Access Management	Searching visitors on entry to venues.
	Access controls.
	Managing Carpark.
	Patrolling roles in various locations across the site.

You will just need to complete the following application form and one of our Recruiters will be in touch to discuss the next steps. Our recruitment and selection process will include an interview and screening to BS7858 standards.

Given the nature of the industry, we do need to ask some questions for security and compliance purposes, but don’t worry - you will only need to complete them once.
