About the Role and Team

The Mobile Speed Camera Program is recruiting a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Operator to join our dedicated team in Ingleburn, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Think of this as the central nervous system for our frontline teams. You are the main point of contact for our Mobile Speed Camera Operators across NSW. Your day-to-day includes:

• Checking in on operator wellbeing at the start/end of shifts or during incidents.
• Providing real-time phone support for technical glitches or public interactions.
• Logging shift data, logging incidents, and handling administrative updates in Excel/spreadsheets.
• Managing fluctuating call volumes (typically 50 to 100 inbound/outbound calls per shift).

About the Roster

Forget the standard 9-to-5—our roster gives you more extended periods of time off!

• Roster Structure: 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster (2 weeks of day shifts, followed by 2 weeks of night shifts).
• The Rhythm: Typically 2–3 shifts on, followed by 2–3 shifts off.
• Predictable Pay Packets: We use a rolled-in flat hourly rate that covers all standard day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts. You get a consistent pay packet every cycle, with extra earnings coming when you work overtime.

What We're Looking For

• Proven background in customer-facing roles—such as retail, hospitality, fast food, or contact centres—where you've thrived in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working a 24/7 rotating shift schedule (previous shift work experience highly regarded).
• Strong verbal communication skills with a calm, professional phone manner.
• Solid computer literacy (Word, Excel) and an ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
• High attention to detail when logging operational notes under pressure.
• Ability to commute to our Ingleburn site for all 12-hour day and night shifts (reliable transport is essential given the 24/7 rotating roster).
