CLEANING SUPERVISOR - HEALTHCARE

 

Salary: £13.86 per hour

Enhanced rates:  Saturday £20.79 per hour & Sundays  £27.72 per hour</strong>

Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Various shifts 

  • Week 1: Monday 06:00 - 14:00, Tuesday to Thursday 09:00 - 17:00, Friday 06:00 - 14:00.
  • Week 2: Tuesday to Thursday 09:00 - 17:00, Saturday to Sunday 06:00 - 14:00.

Location: Carlton Court & Dragon Fly Unit, Lowestoft, NR33 8AG.</p>

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to lead our healthcare cleaning team.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

 

About the Role

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of healthcare cleaning services across designated areas.

You will lead by example, ensuring all cleaning activities are completed to the highest standards while supporting and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, motivate, and support a team of cleaning staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out in line with healthcare cleaning standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate daily cleaning activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor cleaning quality through regular inspections and take corrective action where required.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and stock levels, ensuring resources are available when needed.
  • Respond promptly to operational issues, customer feedback, and service requests.
  • Promote health and safety best practices and ensure compliance across the team.

 


To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, ideally within a cleaning, facilities, or healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A Valid UK driving licence
