Security Officer/Concierge

ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
Working in our global client's corporate office in North Sydney, you will work independently and receive support from our Operations Manager based in QLD. The role is a mix of reception officer duties, security patrols, record keeping, access control, CCTV monitoring, and facilities management. This is a people-facing role where the use of technology is key - so we are looking for someone with previous corporate security experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities and exemplary customer service skills.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Use of the telephone system and internal message system, book and set up meeting rooms, facilities organisation, and general office management.
- Provide visitor passes to guests and assist with the visitor sign-in process.
- Manage inbox and phone enquiries.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and parcels, including courier deliveries and collections, and provide courier access.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the site, in-line with designated patrol routes, and maintain records or patrols and incidents on site.
- Monitor site access control systems and CCTV.
- First Aid Officer and Fire Warden duties.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Hold a NSW Class 1 Security Licence
- Hold a current First Aid & CPR Qualification.
- Proven experience with CCTV and using access control systems.
- Computer literacy and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak with all stakeholders presenting on site, at all levels of an organisation.
