ABOUT THE ROLE

G4S is currently mobilising security operations for a new, high-profile technology client, providing physical security at their facility in Botany, Sydney. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to lead the site's security team and oversee the commencement of our service delivery.

Serving as the primary operational point of contact, you will be responsible for the professional integration of our security personnel, ensuring that all site-specific protocols and safety standards are established and maintained to the highest degree.

Some of your key responsibiliteis in this role will include:

• Operational Leadership: Managing the daily operations of a 24/7 security team, including workforce planning, leave management, and roster coverage.
• Client Liaison: Act as the direct operational link between G4S and on-site stakeholders to ensure seamless service integration.
• Training & Compliance: Facilitate all on-site inductions, lead regular toolbox talks, and ensure the team is fully informed and compliant with Site Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Security Oversight: Supervise front-of-house operations, including visitor management systems and internal patrol schedules.
• Incident Management: Oversee the formal documentation, reporting, and escalation of all site incidents.

ABOUT YOU

A successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a "people-first" mentality who can seamlessly balance stakeholder skills with the operational accuracy required to manage a 24/7 security team and maintain strong, professional relationships with local stakeholders. You will need to have:

• Current NSW 1A Security Licence
  

• Current First Aid Certificate
  

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Proven supervisory experience within a commercial or corporate environment.
• High-level communication skills and proficiency in digital reporting and messaging platforms.
