Position: Site Security Lead 
Location: Dublin 2 
Basic Pay: €15.41 per hour + €8.59 per hour site specific allowance 
Additional Pay: Sunday Premium + €3.44 per hour, Unsociable Hours €20.00 per shift worked, Overtime paid at x1.5 after 96 hours per fortnight, Bank Holiday paid at x2 when worked - All in accordance with the ERO order.
Hours: 39 per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday days, 8 hours per day - schedule dependant on client requirements 

Polite Notice: Only applicants whol hold a first aid qualifications, and possess a minimum of 3 years in a security lead/supervisory role in Ireland will be considered.

Position Overview:

The Site Security Supervisor serves as the ranking security professional on-site during assigned
shifts. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of all security personnel, the
implementation of all security protocols, and serves as the primary security point of contact for
all Allied Universal personnel during the shift. The supervisor must maintain situational
awareness of all security conditions, personnel status, and emerging threats while providing
visible leadership and direction.

Responsibilities:


● Shift Operations
● Ensure adequate staffing for all posts
● Maintain continuous security coverage of the facility
● Conduct regular security checks and inspections
● Coordinate response to security incidents
● Maintain appropriate logs and documentation
● Enforce all site security policies and procedures
● Duties may vary pending operational requirements and delegated tasks from
management
● Personnel Management
● Conduct deployment at shift start
● Assign officers posts based on needs
● Ensure officers understand and follow post orders
● Provide guidance and direction to security officers
● Address performance issues immediately & privately
● Conduct shift briefings and debriefings
● Maintain professional standards and appearance
● Monitor officer training compliance
● Manage officer breaks and meal periods
● Address uniform and equipment deficiencies
● Conduct on-the-job training as needed
● Recognise and document exceptional performance
● Emergency Response
● In the moment when Campus Manager & Account Manager are not available, will
   serve as Incident Commander
● Coordinate security response with other departments

● Implement emergency procedures as needed
● Contact appropriate authorities and management
● Document all actions taken during emergencies
● Conduct post-incident analysis and reporting
● Coordinate evacuation or shelter-in-place procedures
● Establish security perimeter during incidents
● Liaison with responding emergency agencies
● Provide regular status updates to management
● Implement business continuity procedures as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in Ireland

PSA Licence: Valid PSA Security Guarding  license
Screening and vetting: 5 Years of verifiable employment and personal activity

First Aid Qualification

Fluent in oral & written English: Minimum C1 essential

Flexibility:  Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. 
Observation Skills: Ability to notice unusual behavior or activities. - Keen attention to detail in monitoring premises and identifying potential threats. 
Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication for reporting incidents or speaking with the public. Active listening skills to understand instructions and respond appropriately.
Conflict Resolution: Calm demeanor to defuse tense situations and avoid escalation. Ability to mediate disputes and find peaceful resolutions.
Customer Service Skills: Friendly, professional approach when interacting with visitors, employees, or clients. Ability to provide assistance and answer questions politely. 
Emergency Response: Knowledge of emergency procedures, including first aid, CPR, and evacuation plans. Ability to stay composed in high-stress or crisis situations.
Report Writing: Ability to document incidents, write clear and concise reports, and maintain records. Understanding of legal and company-specific reporting standards. 
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with security systems such as alarms, CCTV cameras, and access control systems. Basic understanding of office software for report generation and communication. 
Surveillance and Monitoring: Proficient in using surveillance equipment and monitoring software to detect suspicious activity. Ability to monitor and control access points and secure areas.
Problem-Solving: Quick thinking in emergency situations to assess risk and take appropriate action. Ability to identify and mitigate security threats proactively. 
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with other security officers, law enforcement, or emergency services. Ability to work in team-based environments to ensure overall safety. 
Attention to Detail: Ability to notice minor details that might indicate a larger security threat. Consistent attention to routine tasks to ensure ongoing security. 
Crisis Management: Ability to remain calm and take charge in high-pressure situations. Skill in managing evacuations, handling crowd control, and coordinating with authorities. 
Time Management: Efficiently balancing patrolling duties, monitoring, and administrative tasks. Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing when necessary. These skills help security officers ensure safety and respond appropriately to any potential threat or emergency.
