Office Assistant - Witbank

G4S Secure Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated security management solutions, has a vacancy for an Office Assistant based at our operations in Witbank, reporting to the Regional Technical Manager.
The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which the Office Assistant plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities
Receive and check SLA contract & project stock and report to the project Co ordinator any discrepancies with regards to stock received vs paperwork received.
Assist with monthly stock take.
Assist with stock packing and organize the store rooms.
Cleaning of staff offices, training venues, restrooms, etc.
Control and manage cleaning equipment and materials
Requisition to purchase additional cleaning materials
Collection and disposing of waste
Ensure that the kitchen and canteen facilities are kept neat and tidy.
Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are met.

Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
Discuss all safety incidents
Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
Attend safety education and refresher programs
Comply with safety policies and procedures at the workplace
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 / Matric Equivalent
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
