COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm
Location: Home Based with travel around sites in London
G4S Facilities Management is looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to support the Contract Management team as required, working closely with Compliance teams, Health and Safety teams, Suppliers and Sub Contractors to ensure compliant delivery.
This full time, permanent role is working Monday to Friday, predominantly home based but requires the successful candidate to travel to sites predominantly in and around London, although travel may include the entire PFI portfolio as each Officer is required to understand the other sites and also audit them
Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Auditing: Lead client compliance audits, conduct site safety tours, and review critical documentation (e.g., Water and Fire logbooks) to ensure all properties meet statutory, mandatory, and client requirements.</p>

Data & CAFM Reporting: Utilise CAFM and other tools to analyze compliance performance, track operational data, and produce high-quality management information (MI) ahead of strict deadlines.</p>

Risk & Safety Management: Support Health & Safety leads with the implementation of OH&S frameworks, assist in incident investigations, and oversee the Permit to Work process for high-risk tasks.</p>

Contract & Policy Alignment: Collaborate with Contract Management to track changing legislation, identify areas of non-compliance, and develop internal policies that align with global company standards.</p>

Quality Assurance (ISO): Undertake independent audits to flag risks, manage non-compliance observations through to resolution, and maintain contract ISO accreditations.

Relationship & Task Management: Build strong working relationships with operational teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring all action points from monthly reviews are coordinated and closed out.</p>

Training Support: Help identify and deliver essential statutory and mandatory training across the contract.

Solid, demonstrable experience in a similar facilities or operational role

Strong working knowledge of CAFM systems and advanced proficiency in Google Workspace.

Deep understanding of building compliance alongside hands-on experience in auditing and performance monitoring.

Sharp analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights using pivot tables and graphical reporting.

Natural ability to motivate others, prioritize workloads, and stay highly organized under pressure.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to work openly and collaboratively at all levels
Desireable

Holds a recognized Health and Safety certificate

A solid understanding of working within large, complex corporate structures.

Prior experience supporting Facilities Management (FM) contracts, with a strong preference for Public Sector, PFI, or Healthcare environments.

Formal ISO Auditor training or experience participating in ISO compliance audits.
