Overview of the role

As a professionally trained Security Officer for G4S, you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV and surveillance equipment and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

These roles play a pivotal role in managing the teams and their activities as well as liaising with our customers.

Close Protection/Bodyguards

We employ many ex armed forces personnel in to these roles as they have hugely valuable and transferable skills.

These are roles that are more likely to be part time, attracting students and those who cannot commit to full time work.

A typical week will include:

Building relationships with employers and community organisations
Working as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
access controls
cctv monitoring
Based in government buildings, you’ll be working within clear guidelines, dealing with employees & vistors who need to attend the building
An opportunity to work in Antrim supporting the team and clients where you will gain increased knowledge, growing your own value as a guard
